The House

South Haven is a secluded sanctuary, perfect for families, friends, and couples seeking an unforgettable, relaxing escape in beautiful Kangaroo Valley. This spacious retreat accommodates up to 10 guests across five stylish bedrooms, each designed for comfort and relaxation.

Main House Accommodation

The main house features four newly refurbished bedrooms, each with double doors opening to a wraparound verandah where you can soak in the fresh valley air. The luxurious master suite has its own ensuite bathroom, while an additional spacious hallway bathroom offers a corner spa bath and shower—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. With ceiling fans in every bedroom, reverse-cycle air conditioning, and additional heaters for chilly nights, South Haven ensures your comfort in every season.

The Coach House

Just steps from the main house, the charming Coach House offers an additional Queen bedroom upstairs, with double doors opening onto an elevated balcony overlooking the valley and Cambewarra Mountain Range—views that are simply breathtaking. Downstairs, you’ll find a cozy lounge area with a flat-screen TV, a small kitchenette with a fridge, sink, toaster, and coffee nook, as well as a private bathroom with a shower. Perfect for those seeking a little extra privacy.

Traveling with little ones? A travel cot and two highchairs are available upon request for a hassle-free stay.

Gourmet Kitchen

Calling all food lovers! South Haven’s rustic kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring a 5-burner gas cooktop, 90cm oven, and all the cookware, crockery, and glassware needed to entertain. Enjoy morning coffee from the Delonghi automatic coffee machine or the Espressotoria pod machine. A large fridge, wine fridge, dishwasher, and microwave complete the setup, so you’re fully equipped for unforgettable meals around the indoor or outdoor 10-seater dining tables. Fire up the Weber Q BBQ on the verandah and dine al fresco with breathtaking views.

Living Room

The cozy living room invites you to relax with a new Smart TV, DVD player, and access to Foxtel, Netflix, and other streaming channels. Curl up by the woodfire on cooler nights—wood is provided—or enjoy a game night with cards and board games.

The Estate

Step outside to immerse yourself in nature. The house is encircled by a fully covered verandah and a large deck with a 10-seat outdoor dining table, offering panoramic views of the Eastern escarpment and lush valley. Take a dip in the pool or unwind in the hot tub (remember to bring your own pool towels!). Wander the gardens, breathe in the fresh countryside air, and watch for native wildlife—wallabies, kangaroos, wombats, and colorful birds are frequent visitors.

As the sun sets, gather around the 10-seat firepit to toast marshmallows and stargaze under a clear, vast sky. (Please note, summer fire ban restrictions may apply.)
